The words on this page
I know you wish you were here
Holding me this very moment
Surpingly So Suddenly you disappeared
Called me to tell me you were going
Then Something was stolen from me
But I can't erase you from my memory
We both agree that some things will never be
And now that you've left me
I wish I could rewrite history
Yesterday has passed and tomorrow is just
a mystery
I won't forget your last kiss to me
And even though you never meant
That much to me
It's still sort of sad to see you leave

Another monday morning
Following a sleepless sunday night
Groggy tired and yawning
Seems to be the story of your life
it's amazing you can [?]
living off thirty hours of sleep a week
Tossing and turning staring at the ceiling
[?] counting sheep
Either that or else you were counting sheep
Many of us know how you're feeling
Living off thirty hours of sleep a week
Tossing and turning staring at the ceiling
Either that or else you were counting sheep
Living paycheck to paycheck
struggling just to pay rent
Tighten up your belt that hangs this [?] loose around your
Thursday night and an empty wallet
Wondering where it all went?
Two full time jobs barely keeps the expenses met
Just enough gas to get back and forth to your [?] job
A few walls and a simple roof above your head
Don't need a door with a lock
For you don't have anything valuable enough
to rob

Down in Manchester Bay
A place where [blacked out text] the seagulls

There's an old expression
That all the locals say:
Sometimes you shouldn't bother to wonder why
Here the shore is soaking
Yet the water's always dry
Where faces are always smiling
Yet people still surely cry

Lines form to stare at the sunset
Falling over Great Misery Island
Yet people stand with their head down
And even the children are all silent

I stepped out for a breath of fresh air

To live so free, a world with no restraints
To draw on an empty canvass with all these colored paints
Some peace of mind I find some a little inner peace
Then I'll look at what i've done my own masterpiece
I may be an artist but not quite like that

I couldn't be a baseball player. I had the balls but

i've been blown out to sea and derailed from my track,

My gulfriend is crazy but she don't get it from me,
i did all i could so i'll let her be.
I'm not too poetic for a shoot from the waist

When pullin' don't work it's time to push.

YOUR Lead
And Act
As the go-between
For the workers

When she keeps
all the honey

ALL OF ANTENIE
ARE AIMED AT ME
---
I'm getting angry
Unhappy
If I start crying
Please slap me
Just put me in my place
Slap that frown
Right off of my face
You see I'm in a delicate state
Been like this for years
How much longer do I have to wait?
So many emotion
Though only heart break
Is constant
Do whatever it takes
For that's how bad I want it
Yet the only face I trust
Is on the moon

This is the train that'll lead me outta here
Gotta get when the gettin's good
And Now's my time the coast is clear
When you've gone too far and you can't turn back
When they don't know your name they don't
cut you any slack
Get Back On Track
Can't call this home again
Don't come Back
Time to get on the train again

All of a sudden the world's gotten
colder
When there's someone behind you you gotta
look over your shoulder
They say there's a heaven but this sure
ain't it
Just trying to get there is givin' me fits
It would be so easy to be like them

ON ANOTHER PLANE
Sit on my steps stare at a plane in the sky
Crash and burn two hundred thirty people die
Now I don't see things quite the same
Could have been me that was on that plane.
Talking about vacation, talking to my friend
Talking about work, talking about the end
Read in the paper there no remains found
Imagine the captain's voice saying
Smoke 'em if you got 'em
We're going down
Living is what happens only day to day
You can see how quick it all fades away

Is this what you wanted?
I don't know your birthday but I
know the second date to be placed

So sorry for your mother, Although
you'll be carried by six at least
you're going home
You've died for your country and
now you're a hero
I'm still fighting for mine and labelled
a zero
You're only remembered when you're
not around
After you're dismembered and only
half of you's found

She left for work
without saying goodbye
just shook her head
and then rolled her eyes
I'm not sure
what I did to her
Because when you wake and bake (gettin' high)
Your mornings a blur
My little black cat jumped on my bed
He looked at me and this what he said:
Get up open up the door and let me out
---
13 Waking up to a cold and breezy september morning
13 You feel uneasy without any kind of warning
13 Perhaps you had a bad dream that you can't remember
13 door in your mind burst at the seams you had to enter
9 Ghosts from your past are no longer trapped
89 And they are slowly gaining control
9 Skeletons from your closet now ask
9 Will you finally pay us all what you owe?
9 Sleeping dogs have begun to bark
9 There is just no avoiding this fact
9 Each day earlier the sky grows dark
9 Every night the sky becomes more black

Doin' everything I can to blend
Just like every other kid

Writing of all the wrongs
I have crawled through the filth and waste
Just to try to put a smile on your face
When I fell down when I couldn't keep pace
Couldn't bare the weight of the human race
Please don't be mad at me for giving in
You know I tried my best I really did
I been so sad I couldn't keep it hid
Keeps haunting me what I've been living with

And the boat is in my yard
All summer it has sat there

When the cat goes to bed

Then the skunk comes out
That's what this world is
coming to
My back yard has become a zoo
Image the farms are even worse than this
when you can barely fit all the people in
There's no place left for any animals to live

2 A . . open . . B Just in the nick of time
3 A . . . . . B Four hundred years of pain's been defeated
4 A . . open . . B Not through war but a ballot box line
5 A . . . . . B Though History can never be deleted
this chapter to date is sublime
Black Face in the window of a white house
Watching the former owner says goodbye
He's packing up his bags and finally moving out
Kinda ironic this time it's the white guy
who's heading back down south
As he hands over the keys you can hear him sigh
MLK may have had a dream...
Almost fifty years is past
That dream is fast
Fifty years later that dream is real
Today's the day the times have changed
the day the wounds have healed

I heard about an accident
on the train I usually take
This morning I overslept
Usually I'm never late
Somewhere along the line
Some one made a mistake
As the two trains collided
Enough blood to fill a lake
It took nearly three days
For all the passenger cars to seperate
These next words
Give me reason to hesitate
On what I will now say
First I must meditate...
On the other train
Was my son's favorite playmate
Along with his mom
who was seven months pregnant

BRIDGE
The invisible gap between sons and Fathers
Often seems like the Grand Canyon long
But the truth of why lies hidden
Beneath each others eyes
As we forget so conveniently
It is because of these men that we are born

Why do they seem so far away
with each breath we taky and
more and more every day that we live
Divided like the night and day
No one's ever crossed the bridge

Is the way too narrow
The Ropes too weak
Are the distance of a potential fall
Far too high to the bottom of the creek?

Is the fear of failure
Why so few have tried to get across
But in never knowing of the other side
So much is lost

Help I've fallen and I can't get up -
I've just taken my last step
Give me a minute to catch my breath.
I still don't know why you left?
It wasn't right
Why did we fight?
We've been through this all before
Hasn't it become a bore?
I wanted you you wanted more
No longer will this key unlock your door
I once saw us together til the end of time
I can see that I was blind.
Why do you treat me so unkind?
I'm heart broken and you don't seem to mind.

I heard alot of love songs where the girl got away,
I started writing my own when my girl said she'd stay,
"You better goto rehab if you wanna stay with me,"
"Where white coated men will bound you and say its for your security."
Bound me Bound may be too strong, more like strongly secured,
Found has been my better half, but the illness still needs a cure,
I've cried to sleep too many nights since she went away,
