Hey Bob Dylan I'm comin' chasing you
For deepin my heart I know what they're saying
is not true
The general consensus is that you're the best
But what they don't know is that I have yet to take the test
You know that I'm young and I've still got a trick up my sleeve
And even though I just joined the party I'll be the last to leave
I'm a two thousand and two Patriot
Born and raised in Boston Mass
It's worse denying than facing it
Even though you're old I want to kick your ass
I know you know I've been raised on video games
But the way you and I see the world is still the same
My friends know the only thing you have on me is age

A hymn to Jim or John...

I get remorseful & hateful when I hear
Still I must listen for I have no choice
Can't always turn it off and on
How [?] I react
Lost all faith in mankind
Can't think of any more questions to ask
The race has been run and I still don't believe
Like to take a few steps back
Tonight before killers & thieves
With all we've gained so much more we lack
One man brought a world to it's knees
Beatle murdered - The heddline was a fact
So many crying; why did John Lennon have to leave?
Hurts my ears, hurts my soul, kills my faith
Still I carry on your weight
I was two when you were dead
Even god get a little slow
For I believe in some resurrections
When the wheels go round you just never know

RUMORS FROM HEAVEN

Hard to tell just how the conversation sounds
When John's head is just about to hit the ground
The echo of [illegible] in the corner of the room
Plays long after dark as the echo finds his way around
All the while Jim is already out cold
He Bought the ticket but the ride's getting old

The creator never really had a chance
The disciples no longer walked straight
The power of song and dance
Unleashed after ages [crossed out] into the golden gate

John whispers...
no you ain't gonna see what I got in my pocket
but the words that come up are knock it off and stop it
you want to change it all for the better but what's the use?
I have had far beyond my years too much abuse

Jim responds with out even a nod...
The day revolves around one's hard ache
It all spins on one big wheel
I do not have tears as you awake my blacken eel
I also know all the pain you feel
[inserted: George's]
But they all know [crossed out] not the type to be out done...
The pressure of the sky falls onto you back
The clouds laughing behind your face
The weather changes all the time
The black leather soon becomes white lace

Jerry [line indicating speaker]
even decided to add...
The wheel was not invented by men from long ago
Reinvented everyday by discoverer's eyes
Seeking to change the books even though
What drives men to such is what I despise

Philosophy is just fancy pants for someone's way of view
Evolution stemming all the way from even before World War II
The morning after the night called the beginning
Wrote new rules of the times, stamped them in black and blue
They all got the same room upstairs
And Lough the landlord is god there
All know how they never got anyway to tell
But there's never any knocking next here
They're all just grateful to be dead
Because they're the house band at heaven
They sell out every night
Now that's not too upsetting
Now that's of course Paul would've range the bell
Hey John it's George must have left the Maharishi
Because of course we'd a seen him in hell
John said he must have left the Maharishi without
Or else we'd a seen him in his hands
There goes Jimi playing again his head band
wearing only and his underpants
Jerry go get a bucket
of water
we'll see if we can get
him outta this trance
Elvis Presley's Knocking but
don't let him in
But Sinatra's okay
'cause he always brings
[in margin]
18
[at bottom]
Hey who invited Bobby Dylan?
You know we're not allowed to let anyone in early
Keith Richards came all the way up for nothing
But we're sure we'll see him again shortly

G G to E
The more I get to know myself
The more I'm falling in love
Should I give thanks to Charles Darwin
Or to the Lord Above?
No matter, for later
Be it Adam & Eve or an alligator
I'm god's gift to evolution
To any problem I'll find a solution

---

CATS & COWS

I keep awaking to the sunrise
without a thought towards the day ahead
I can scarcely even open up my eyes
Before I want to stay in bed
Another day of misery for someone somewhere
The front page news, the television, a story on the radio
Sometimes it makes me doubt if there is really someone up there
But I guess I'll have to wait cause there's really only one way to know
Where can I go to get away
Someplace that's not too far
My own shooting star
What will I have to pay?
Some place where my senses are keen
And my thoughts are clean
And where not everybody knows

Of all the indifference we have seen
I need a change in the scenery
Maybe I'll go out and find some greenery
Of course only if the law allows
There might not be any left any how
Perhaps we were better off
when we were worshiping cats and cows

Perhaps we've somehow turned ourselves
Back into Serpents and back into Sows

---

A DAY AT A TIME
I lose my mind
A day at a time
I don't go to meetings
Look at me I'm doing fine
I stopped writing letters
Only one letter left
Goodbye A A
Say hello to
Me, Myself and I

---

When you're not together
You're only waiting for the break up

It's alright when I'm sleeping
It's only hard when I wake up

Now that I'm free
I've got some extra time to take up

After you see their true colors
There's no more need to wear make up

I see her dance and I feel it again
Will I feel better only time will tell
But I know it'll probably be the same
Until I hear those wedding bells
Its the same old feeling
That comes and goes
How long is it hear for?
Knowbody noes
Its back again
But only time will tell
If I'll suffer
The same old hell
She is taken
But only for now
Some way, I'll reach her
but I don't quite know how?

---

Soulmates lost we no longer morn
Spirit alive has been reborn
Get this funny feeling deep down inside
Just sittin' in the car and goin' foraride
Feel my spirit flow outta my soul
A heart lost is a heart stole
I've lost my way in the fog
Blinded by the sun, choked by the smog
When I'm with you I see so clear
Troubles of the time just disappear

---

Come and see me some time
We've been playin' it by
the books for so long
Feeling lonely tonight
all alone I sing my song
Missing you is what I do
To pass the time away

Night falls its time to go to bed
You know how the saying goes
time to rest your weary head
But when the stars shine
in the sky
IT'S SO MUCH HARDER TO SAY
good bye

---

(You can see a million miles tonight
but you can't get any further)

The weight has been lifted
That comes with being gifted
The plates have just shifted
feel the weight being lifted
Tomorrow's another day
School books been thrown away
Homework tonight is planning how [?]
much to drink
Raise your glasses, you don't have to
think
Summer's around the corner
spring now fills the air
the weight has been lifted
Teacher's gone he is not there

---

Stuck in a rut caught in a jam
Up is down left is right
Hard to make it without your right hand man
You know he skipped town in the middle of
the night
He couldn't make it he couldn't take it

---

Walking in Dublin
talking to Leprachauns
walking in Dublin
Eating shamrocks As I walk on
RIGHT INTO A BAR
But they call it a pub
Using [?] Guiness as my desert
And potatoes as my grub
Met a gentle man named McDonald
who was eating french fries
Met a woman named Fiona
Who spoke of St. Patrick
But only told me lies

---

Woke up half dead
So I just laid in bed
I find myself believing that the best days were left behind
Show me a sign of better days ahead
tell me of a time
When I'm anxious to awake

Disciple of Dirt
What will break the spell?
So many claim to know
Yet so few tell
Why is it so?
Maybe it's just as well?
Just to let it go...
Ah what the hell?
There's only one way to know...
[scratched out text] whether to dug or sell
Which road to go
Only one man [scratched out text] knows
yet down we fall

suit disciple
What's a [?] like me to do?
No one to follow no one to lead me
A Blind detective in a world full of clues
Only able to be captured no one to free me
So many choices so little time to choose
Want to hide away where no one can see me
[scratched out text] Much to gaind yet even more to lose
Rest in the safety that no one else will ever be me

Book of all my poetry lies dusty on the shelf
My inspiration lost and found by someone else?
Dreams of tomorrow, Ah who the hell even cares?
Everyday we all look in the mirror
A wonder if it's time to face our fears

Burned out, Burned up maybe no flame at all
No desire to climb no wish to fall

A ride I'll never take again as you're leaving

You let me down
Who'd have thought that a pair of faded

After I let her in who'd have thought that

An Angel on the outside, the devil

Such a beautiful smile, yet eyes full of deceit

The words on this page
When I was a boy daddy dressed me in white
We'd find our way through the darkness by lighting a light
Momma would wash my clothes nearly every day
For I'd get them dirty whenever I'd play
She told me if it wasn't white it wasn't good
If the weather got chilly she'd pull up my hood
Life was so fun when we'd march in parades
Then we'd set fire to the crosses we made
The holidays, especially, would bring me good cheer
We liked Halloween so much we had it 20 times a year
But church was much different than I ever thought it would be
We'd have mass outside as we lit the big T
Yes momma raised me right, she says that's why we wear pure white
She made me believe my future looked bright
Because I stayed clean and kept my face white

---

For Sundays and picnics mom would wash my
And then I'd get them dirty wherever {struck: we'd go} {struck: i'd go} go

This is the same old story on a different day
Just when I thought everything was going my way
Another girl who never called another girl who got away
Ever since I was a child they could never come out and play
I thought that She was different but I've got myself to blame
Just another day but the story stays the same
We planned to study together it wasn't even a date
I fell asleep when she didn't call when it started getting late
I was so excited that I even bought new clothes
But it happened again and its starting to get old
By now I've lost hope what else could I do?
Except grab my pen and smoke a cigarette ortwo
Smoke gets in my eyes
I begin to cry
Okay I told a lie
It wasnt the smoke at all
The reason my tears did fall
Down below it all
Its because she didn't call
She made me feel so small
I begin to ball tears like rain
I'm going back to bed
To rest my weary head
And forget all that I've said
Though my story's been revealed
Could no longer be concealed
My Emotions never heal
My eyes still red
There, my story has been told
My pain has now been sold
My heart as black as coal
Hidden deep within my soul
Like a sailor deep at sea
Who's Forgotten his history
with noone around to cause him any pain

---

At the sun or the clouds and rain
I'm the captain of my ship and I'm sailing out to sea
Away from the land of cost let the ocean set me free
Without a compass I blow in the wind to land wherever I roam
To me the sea is my only friend and blue the color of home
With shattered dreams and my past forgotten I'm uncertain of which way to +
Out on the water looking up at the stars confusing the bow with the stern
My life is now one with the deep blue sea
Only will tell if it'll get the better of me
I think of the land and I think of the pain
Of something lost and nothing gained

Birds circle around your home / They flap trapping their wings from side to side / From mother nature no man can hide / Being punished for crimes - well that maybe /// Now look at your life and [x] fate - what a shame / As your family boasts you're in the prime of your life / You go under the doctor's knife / For cancer has no name or face

Your heart breaks with every tender touch
You think to yourself you don't love her all that much
The moon, the stars, she'd give 'em all to you
With a tear in your eye you continue
Skin so soft and light brown hair
She stares into your eyes without a care
You're her shelter from the rain
She's filled with love you're filled with pain
Reality screams into your ear
You try to quiet yourself and calm your fear
How long can you play the game?
How much longer can you hold your shame?
The truth is exposed you wear a mask
But for even an actor this is no easy task
With every day that passes you sink in the sand

Becomes even harder when she offers her hand
You won't be the one to shatter her dreams
You Make her believe everything is as it seems
But life is anything but a fairytale
Before you pass sometimes you fail
It's better to have loved and lost
than never played so pay the cost

It's never easy when the time has come
It's never easy but you had your fun
So Don't feel sorry for what you've done
For after the rain comes the sun

Dead End
I know who you are and who you want to be.
I know you're entrapped and you want to be free.
You can't put off til tomorrow, what needs to be done today,
We've had this talk a million times before, not much more I can say.
When days become years, you'll know that its true,
You'll look back and say, "why didn't I listen to you?"
If you don't do it soon, you'll never see me in town,
The reason I've gone? Is you've been bringin' me down.

I've been down that road, let me tell you my friend,
that sooner or later - you'll see a dead end.
The road will deceive you with its ups and its downs,
Hard to find direction with your head spinnin' round.

You're flyin' high in the sky with heaven so near,
Feel your heart beat with your nose so clear.
Even when you gaze down you feel no fear,
You'll need a parachute to come back down my dear.

Come on my darling, time to turn the page,
The only way you're not dyin' is from old age.
Please stop it right now, I just can't wait,
You're all grown up its time to get things strait.

I've been down that road, let me tell you my friend,
that sooner or later - you'll see a dead end.
The road will deceive you with its ups and its downs,
You gotta get it together, Turn your life around.

Ten years later, I hoped I'd see you again,
But I couldn't make it, so flower's I'll send.
I tried to convince you but you wouldn't bend,
So sorry for you, now you'll never mend.

---

I've been down that road, I told you my friend,
But sooner than later you saw the dead end,
The road has deceived you with its ups and its downs,
Its just so sad I'll never see you around.

She finds a bottle of pills and she holds them in her hand,
My whole world is falling down and noone understands.
There's only one way to solve my problems thats for me to go away,
When I'm in my grave I can't hear everyone say:
"She had the whole world in her hand but she only let us down,
Now she's gone too far away and it's only six feet under ground [crossed out: feet down]"
What could make her think that we didn't love her so,
What could make her think there was no place left to go?
I'm sorry mom - I'm sorry dad,
I hoped that this would make you glad.
I couldn't bare to see your face,
When you thought your love's a waste.
I didn't want to hurt you nor give you any pain,
I just imagined my loss would be your gain.
That would pass just like the moon with just a hug and hiss.
This is your one mistake that'll never be undone,
We used to have two children we're left with just a son
Everybody stumbles when they learn to walk,
And everybody mumbles when they learn to talk,
One thing that we've learned is to give it our best shot,
We prayed that you'd be strong but you never really fought.
Did you ever listen to anything you'd been taught?
When you swim against the tide you give it all you got
With your expectations so high you nailed me
You placed me on a pedestal so I was bound
I ended up laying down when I tried to stand
whenever I shift to a higher gear I cant always

---

When I needed you the most I was too afraid to call,
Oh how could we have missed this with the writing on
the wall?
We wish that you had told us for we can be so blind,
Why did you say nothing? We should have known it all,
If you would've said something we would have been more kind.
Oh what have I done? This shouldn't be my fate,
I've only made one mistake and now it's far too late.
Now it's getting dark I guess it's time to sleep,
I'll be here for eternity and all I'll do is weep,
Always remember you're daddy's little girl,
The world could've been your oyster and you it's pearl,
I'd trade my soul for one more dance,
I would do anything to give you a second chance,
You were my daughter, you were my friend,
If only you had known it didn't have to end.

And you know what?

While perching on powerlines
But I imagine they still sing out loud
While watching people in the crowd
As they're walking down the street
With blisters on their feet
From walking for miles on concrete
It's not a pretty scene
When it's a sure bet
That if you want to see an animal
Then you have to buy a pet
The only spot you can go fishing
Is in your neighbor's swimming pool
I suggest you bring a book
You can't change a world like this by wishing
If you think you can then you're a fool

They brought me to my cell with shackles

And a book about war is what I got
Well bitch and complain
I just may, hopefully

The words on this page
FALLEN CLOUDS

Hanging clouds drift above
After the battle in the sky
Fallen soldiers through love and war
Each one picking sides

Feel the sun's warmth penetrate
Pray for second chances far too late
Falling raindrops through the sky
Tears once wept will soon turn dry

Some say there is heaven and there is hell
Yet both remain unseen
Others say you live and then you die
Nothing in between

Wandering souls adrift up high
Through the canyons echo another sigh
As desperate as a crying child
Like screaming trees caught in a blaze
When lightening strikes and the fire runs wild
There is noone that is saved

Purgatory to each his own
Dante's Inferno

---

Fallen clouds cont.

clouds crawl past
From East to West
Uncertain which way to go
Powerless, their spirit glides
Which ever way the wind does blow

You can not see their face
They can not find their place
Their reflective eyes watch the world go round
Unsure of where the pool of Knowledge is found

---

The middle isn't forming
Anything that isn't habit forming is just a waste
of time
Not everything deals with money, no nickels, no quarters,
no dimes
There are somethings [sic] that control you, others
that you control
Like when your mind sees colors - From green to white
white to gold from

---

I lay on the ground as I feel death's cold eyes
Even in defeat I am not taken by surprise
I am on my own rock by no man's law I abide
In desperate times you can look for a place to hide
Now there's no escape, trouble has already come
You can never take back anything you've done

---

RAIN FALLING
The rain that's falling down
Don't let it bring you down
Stop and take a look around
See what you have found
Everyone is gone who's saddened you
Everyone is gone who hurt you
Everyone is gone who maddened you
Everyone is gone who burnt you

---

AUG 14
Happy Birthday Jay
Today's the big day
We all brought you a present...
A big, blue chair
So you'll remember all of us
When we're not there
It's our pleasure to meet you
Even if its here at D.U.I.L.
But we better not see you here again
So you better keep your cool
You're a good kid
Who's just trying to get on track
But we're all paddling the same boat
So we'll cut you some slack
One last little piece of advice
To the man wearing the tag that
reads James Dwyer
The next time you get in a fight
Don't give him a right
Give him a pile driver
Happy Birthday

ESCAPING the DEMONS

Right is Left
Left is right
Down is up
Up is down
I used to see ya
Now you're never around
Halleluyah
But you know I can't spell it
Something in the air
You know I can smell it
Lungs now clean
Breath fresh air
Escaped the demons
They're no longer there

PIGEON LAND
As I stumble down the street
The street lights go out
All the people I pass
Are down and out
You see the difference
Between the have and have nots
You see the difference
Between the with and with out
I ask myself how could you live here
You must get numb after awhile
I say to myself anywhere but here
You must get dumb after awhile
Children playing in the dirt
Next to a man who lost his shirt
Everywhere you look
You see people getting hurt
To live here every day
A place where even the pigeons
They all fly away
You know I'm getting outta here
I suggest you shouldn't stay

DAYLIGHT AGAIN
Daylight again
comes now and again
My only friend
that's left in the end
The shadows hide
As the clouds creep by
I take stake in
My mistakes in
The life I know
The one I can't shake
Grabs me by the collar
Won't let me go
There's only one way to live
Only one way I know
I've been taken
And shaken
And send out on my way
I've tumbled
I've stumbled
Going from day to day
The only sunrise ahead
Is the one I see when I go to bed
Wake up in the dark
circled by sharks
cover my head
Until there's daylight ahead
Trapped in a tunnel

---

Light dim in either direction
When you're just trying to escape
There's no time to search for perfection
Day to day
Year to year
Some how, Some way
I'll get outta here
Bars on the doors
Can't climb out
My guide left me
The candle blew out
Where I stand
My feet are stuck in the mud
There's no chance left
I'll rise above
I came to my senses
That was when
I knew I'd be down here.
Until there's daylight again

---

The Golden Rule
Somebody asked me why I went catholic
He said the only thing he learned there was the
golden rule
But if you follow that they'll play you
for a fool
He told me that every day of life is like a dual
You must strike first before you become a victim
No matter which way you turn you can't
escape the system
The bible says an eye for an eye
The bible says turn the other cheek
The bible says God works mysteriously
don't ask why
Contradictions after every word they
speak

MIDAS TOUCH
What has once been bought has now been sold
Your Midas touch turned me to gold
Never to grow young, never to grow old
Death does part, no to have and hold
Sickness in health, Warmth is cold
Becareful that it might come true
A face once a beautiful now a pale blue
Crumbling down what was once brand new
The question is not how or why but who
Becareful what you wish for because it might come
true

GAUGING TIME
Cracks upon the walls
Pacing up and down the halls
Walls are closing in
The end will now begin
Freedom stripped away
Today mirrors every other day
Time is growing old
And what a price we pay
You don't gauge time by a clock
Hanging on the wall
You cross out days on the calendar
that's hanging in the hall
The time you got in
That's not what it's about
It's the days you got left
Before they let you out

Smell the flowers
Oh Claridalia
Stop and smell the flowers
Time is so precious after it's gone
Why not stop and admire the road you're on
Why not stop and smell a rose
Before you walk along?
Oh Claridalia
Stop and smell the flowers
Take a minute for yourself
Instead of giving it to someone else
Why not stop and smell a daisy
Before they all are gone?
Oh Claridalia
Stop and smell the flowers
This world is not a race
Go ahead and slow your pace
Why not smell the apple trees
Before they lose all of their leaves?
Oh Claridalia
Stop and smell the flowers
Why not gaze up at the clouds overhead
Ever wonder if they're really angel's beds
Why not admire the sunset
Before the sky turns to black from red?
Oh Claridalia
Stop and smell the flowers
Of the little ones walking towards you
Try to catch their eye
Maybe say a quick hello
And then a long goodbye
Why not stop and make the children laugh?
Before long they will surely cry
Oh Claridalia
Stop and smell the flowers
Feel the cool rain
Before you run for cover
See the spark of lightening
Hear the roar of thunder
Why not be puzzled by a mystery
Before long everything shall be discovered
Oh Claridalia
Stop and smell the flowers
Autumn's moon is rising up ahead
Our earth and winter's frost will soon be wed
Why not stop and smell the flowers
Before you have forgotten all I've said?

BRIDGE
The invisible gap between sons and Fathers
Often seems like the Grand Canyon long
But the truth of why lies hidden
Beneath each others eyes
As we forget so conveniently
It is because of these men that we are bor
Why do they seem so far away
with each breath we take and
More and more every joy that we live
Divided like the night and day
No ones ever crossed the bridge
Is the way too narrow
The Ropes too weak
Or the distance of a potential fall
Far too high to the bottom of the creek?
Is the fear of failure
Why so few have tried to get across
But in never knowing of the other side
So much is lost

@ shine a light into their eyes

Bring them to a place where they can unite

they'll add my name to their
list when they
hear this
The spreading of information oh yeah
they fear this

One card one chip one voice tells you
what to do
One false step, one wrong move - they'll be after
you

Another candle Another year
365 more days that have disappeared
There is no surprise party as far
as I can see
And yet tradition is tradition
So I'll sing happy birthday to me
Since it will probably never come true
I'm going to tell you my wish
12 months from now
I long for a soul to share this day with

I've got a new method
to my madness
And simply stated
I've decided my life's
too complicated

---

FROM A DISTANCE
Every day thousands of people
can be seen here walking Downtown
They pass the pizza parlor, gaze out
upon the harbor, there's so many
sights and sounds
Some are smiling like young children
while others are looking at the ground
still more stand with hands in pockets
at the soap boxed man thinking get off it
I see a man searching for someone, for anyone
Yet as for me I'm searching for one specific
face in the crowd
I thought
10 From a distance I saw someone that
that looked like you
10 As I tried to quell these anxious feelings
I realized it was the sitoette of a stranger
The sun is quite revealing

Looking for a role model
Looking for a good hobby
Ended up picking up a bottle
Ended up hurting my body

Looking for the sacred river
Looking for warmer water
Ended up a disbeliever
Ended up being led to the slaughter

Looking to transcend my existence
Looking to find Heaven on Earth
Ended up finding the sign: No admittance
Ended up finding I couldn't break the curse

Looking to begin another day
Looking to be the voice of reason
Ended up denying many things I say
Ended up my own victim of treason

Looking at myself in the mirror
Looking to see if I could still recognize my face
Ended up seeing everything much clearer
Ended up finding the self I'd misplaced

---

Another monday morning
Following a sleepless sunday night
Groggy, tired and yawning
Seems to be the story of your life

Many of us know how you're feeling
Living off thirty hours of sleep a week
Tossing and turning staring at the ceiling
Either that or else you're counting sheep

Living paycheck to paycheck
Struggling just to pay the rent
Tighten up your belt
That hangs just like a noose around your neck
Thursday night and an empty wallet
Leaves you wondering where it all went

---

Dead Silence on the train
Thirty people sitting in thirty seperate
rows
Dead Silence on the train
Next stop one comes on and another
one goes
And yet nothing has changed
Still Dead Silence on the train

The whistle sounds
The sound of a quarter hitting the ground

no one
reacts
It seems
there's no one
to ask

When she calls you up
You drop everything
Time itself stops
When the telephone rings

She inspires the love song
Your whole body sings
When you hear her voice
Your heart soars for She gives you wings

She lives in a vacuum bag
Inside a box
She's got no Internet
No clocks - just a single watch
Hanging upon her wrist
If it wasn't for religion
She'd never know what day it is

When it comes to life
She's so innocent, so young and naive
Yet she could speak for a week about Adam and Eve
And she calls you Doubting Thomas because you still don't believe
Says you'll never see Heaven until you fall to your knees

And you say "Please..."

---

Waking up to a cold and breezy september morning
You feel uneasy without any kind of warning
Perhaps you had a bad dream that you cant remember
door in your mind burst at the seams you had to enter

Ghosts from your past are no longer trapped
And they are slowly gaining control
Skeletons from your closet now ask
Will you all finally pay us what you owe?

Sleeping dogs have begun to bark
There is just no avoiding this fact
Each day earlier the sky grows dark
Every night the sky becomes more black

---

With this dark sky forshadowing impending doom
I'm thinking I'd been better off staying in my room
Such a thick layer of clouds seems the sun'll never break through
The way I feel about the weather is the same way I feel about you
Cold, dismal and dreary
whenever you are near me Everything's changed somehow
That is how I feel That's what I face now
Bright, happy and cheery
It used to be so clear to me
But now there's only clouds

---

The town was empty the streets were clear
As I found myself standing here
Everyone had retreated
Back to from whence they [crossed out: originally] came
At least now I finally knew [crossed out: their names]
Everybody by name

And we all got along just fine
Giggling and laughing
And Having a good time
Best friends 'til the end
Me, Myself and I

---

The scenery is changing
The sky is growing bluer
No more loose ends left hanging
You tied the knot then untied the knot
Now you wish you never knew her

But wait a minute this isn't one of those
types of songs
You've shared some great times together
And you were happy that she came along
But then the time came
When it was time for a change

The only face I see in the mirror
Belongs to me for it is my own
For the first time in a long time
I woke up all alone

Yet there was Sunshine
Pouring in through the window
The morning started off cold
But it got better from there

It seems like a lifetime - ago
The last time I had found myself - here
I faught and beat my pride Made a deal with my ego
Now that My other half has disappeared

The town was empty and the streets were clear
Seems the whole world left me yet I'm not scared
Everyone had retreated back to from whence they came
At least now I finally knew everybody by name

And we all got along just fine
Giggling and laughing
Having a grand old time

I was going to write more but it's best that I ought not

I fell for you, we fellin love and then we fell from grace...
